Our religions and philosophies are dominated by a human-centric view. This manifests itself in things like conceptualizing a god in a human form, and separation of our life from natural cycles. In sci-fi stories of space travel, human spirit and ingenuity are glorified as earthings are depicted traveling the galaxy. It is just taken for granted that we will be able to travel away from the earth. Of course such stories include the taking of life-support systems (air, water, food). This still assumes that our brains will still function while away from the master electromagnet.

There are many religious assumptions we could make other than the established human-form god assumption. One such assumption might be an earth-system fractal assumption, meaning: Life on earth is an outgrowth of earth itself, dynamic intelligence a result of dyanmic environment, electronic frequencies in our head a function of electronic frequencies naturally flowing around, the particulars of the small mimicking the particulars of the whole.

Such a belief system offers benefits over the "established" system by including regard for nature, and concepts of collective organism into the moral code, aligning itself better evolving realities of survival on the earth today.
